Somatic Mental Health Support
Change your relationship with intrusive thoughts, food, or anxiety—by creating embodied safety in your nervous system.
What is this?
This is body-based, trauma-informed support for those navigating:
• OCD
• Disordered eating
• Chronic anxiety
• cPTSD

This approach helps you reconnect with your body, learn to regulate your nervous system, and feel safe from within—so you're no longer ruled by looping thoughts, compulsions, or fear.
What to expect?
In our sessions, you’ll learn to:
• Recognize body sensations during anxious or obsessive episodes
• Understand how your nervous system reacts under stress
• Use breath, movement, and sound to shift into a “rest and digest” state
• Feel emotions safely—without getting overwhelmed
• Co-regulate in real-time with a supportive, present guide
• Begin to calm the body before taking mindful action
Tools we will use
• Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) and inner child visualizations
• SAFER Method for emotional release
• Breathwork to calm and reset
• Intuitive Movement to shift energy
• Toning & Voicework for emotional and nervous system regulation
Is this right for me?
This work is ideal if you:
• Struggle with obsessive thoughts or compulsions
• Feel stuck in anxious patterns around food or routines
• Want more than talk therapy—something body-based
• Are looking for tools you can use independently, anytime
• Want to feel less fear, and more trust in your own body
• Are navigating grief or loss
Does this replace therapy or medication?
No. This is complementary, not a replacement.
Somatic work can powerfully support traditional therapy and medical treatment, and over time, it can help you become more self-aware, grounded, and empowered in your healing which may serve as a gateway to reduce medication or therapy. However, it is important to make any decisions in consultation with specialists.
About the practitioner

I’m Lizzy.
For over ten years, food and OCD controlled my life. Even with talk therapy, mindfulness, and medication, I found I was still dependent on strict routines and conditions to feel okay.

My real shift came through somatic and nervous system work—on retreat, in movement, in stillness, and through deep self-study.
Today, as a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and danceMANDALA facilitator, I offer a safe space for others to reconnect with their bodies, feel their feelings, and create a life led by inner calm—not fear.
FAQ's
What if I feel overwhelmed easily? Sessions are paced gently and safely. Additionally, because we work with the breath, you are able to be in control at all times. Additionally, we work close to nature which helps you to ground and cope with any emotional release.
How long are sessions? Typically 60 minutes
Do I need experience in yoga or movement? No, this is fully accessible to everyone.
Are you a qualified therapist? No, I’m not a licensed psychotherapist — which is why I don’t work directly with the mind or diagnose. I always recommend that somatic work be done alongside traditional talk therapy or support from a psychiatrist where needed. What I am is a certified yoga teacher (360 hours), danceMANDALA facilitator, and Ayurvedic therapist, with additional training and deep self-study in retreat environments focused on nervous system regulation and somatic healing. I also hold a BSc in Biology and a PGCE, and have over ten years of experience supporting individuals 1:1 — helping them build awareness, emotional resilience, and embodied safety. My work is rooted in the body — supporting you to regulate your nervous system, feel your emotions safely, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
Are sessions in person or online? Sessions can be both and work well in either format. Some clients prefer online to remain in the safety of their homes. Currently, in person sessions are offered in Devon, UK. Clients have the choice of meeting somewhere in nature or within an indoor space.
